We offer several options for scholarships and financing, because we believe that the potential of students should not be limited by financial issues.

Philanthropy Scholarship*
This scholarship is for students who are studying at Facens and face financial difficulties or difficult situations. To qualify, your family's income must be up to one and a half minimum wages per person.
To get this scholarship, you need to read the notice carefully and check if your profile meets all the requirements. If you are selected, the scholarship will be valid for one year, but you need to follow the rules that the Scholarship Commission has established. They are in the Philanthropic Grant Regulations.
The scholarship starts in January and ends in December, but you need to maintain good performance in your studies each semester to continue receiving it. They publish a notice every year with information on how to apply.

Is the philanthropy scholarship valid for the entire course?
No, the philanthropy scholarship is valid for 1 (one) year, as specified in the notice.
I live with my parents, but I have my own income. Should I send their documentation too?
Yes, in the context of the philanthropy grant, we consider as a family group all people who contribute to the income or have their expenses met by that family unit. This includes all people living in the same household and, if applicable, minors under custody, guardianship or conservatorship, subject to a court decision.
On the registration form, it asks me to identify each family member. Should I include my own data too?
Yes, you must include all family members living in the same household, including yourself.
I don't have a scanner to scan the documents. Can I take photos with my cell phone?
Yes, you can use your cell phone to take photos of documents, but make sure the document is completely visible in the photo and is legible. There are also applications, such as "CamScanner", that can scan documents via cell phone and save them in PDF format.
My documents are digitized in the cloud. Can I send the link?
No, you must attach a copy of the documents directly to the email. If you need to send documents via more than one email, this is not a problem. Just identify that the email is a continuation of the previous sending.
I live with my grandparents, and they don't have a digital work card, just a physical one. Can I scan it and send it?
If they are under 70 years old, it is necessary to provide a digital work card.
My parents are civil servants and do not have a work record. Should I still send them their digital wallet?
Yes, the work card is considered a mandatory document for all members of the family group over 16 years of age.
My brother is 15 years old and does not have all the requested documents. What should I do?
For members of the family group aged between 0 and 15, it is only necessary to send the birth certificate and ID with CPF.
I am exempt from declaring income tax. How can I prove it?
In this case, you must access the Federal Revenue website and consult the refund page. Within the page, make a query using your CPF number in the Revenue website's database. When the result appears on the screen, take a print and save the document in PDF format.
I am dependent on my parents. Should I send the income tax exemption declaration?
Yes, it is necessary to carry out the exemption search and send us the documentation.
What is per capita income?
Family per capita income represents the income per person in the family. It is calculated by adding up all salaries and income received by all residents of the same house and dividing this total by the number of people in the house. The result is per capita family income.
Who can participate in the Philanthropy Grant Process?
Regularly enrolled students who do not have another completed degree and do not receive any other scholarship or financing benefits can participate in the Philanthropy Scholarship Process.
What is considered a family group?
A family group is made up of all people who contribute to income or have their expenses met by the same family unit and who reside in the same household.
Merit Scholarship
Percentage: 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%
This scholarship is for students who are starting college. You can achieve this by participating in the Selection Process, which takes place together with the Facens entrance exam. During the test, they assess how much you know, and the percentage of the scholarship you win depends on how you did in that test.
If you are one of those selected, this scholarship will last throughout your college course, but every semester they will check how you are doing in your studies and whether you are attending classes properly, in accordance with the competition rules.

Academic Monitoring

Target audience and selection criteria:
This scholarship is for students who are doing very well in a specific subject being selected. Students who receive this scholarship will help other students who are having difficulties in the same subject. They will be available during the week to lend a hand, working approximately 6 hours per week.
They open the opportunity to apply for this scholarship every semester, and they will release information on how to do so.

Technical Monitoring

This scholarship is for students who work in Facens laboratories for 20 hours per week. You can apply for this scholarship when we post a notice each semester.

Undergraduate Research Project
Percentage: According to the Announcement

Target audience and selection criteria:
The Facens Scientific Initiation Program offers students the chance to discover their passion for science. It is an activity that is not part of the mandatory course schedule and is carried out optionally by the student, with guidance from a Facens teacher. Students chosen, according to the criteria specified in the notice, may receive a scholarship during the time they participate in the project.

Sibling/Family Scholarship
Percentage: 10%
Responsible sector: Treasury
Target audience and selection criteria:
Facens offers two scholarship opportunities: one for students who have siblings, fathers, mothers or spouses enrolled in college, which is only valid for the second enrollment; and another for students who have brothers, fathers, mothers or spouses who graduated from Facens.

PROUNI
Percentage: 100%
Responsible sector: Social Assistance Center
Target audience and selection criteria:
Facens offers entry opportunities through PROUNI membership for low-income students, whose per capita income does not exceed one and a half minimum wages, and who have completed high school in public schools or private schools with a full scholarship.
The selection process takes into account the student's performance in the ENEM, a socioeconomic analysis and documentary verification, which includes a social interview. The scholarship is valid for the entire course period. Registration can be done directly on the PROUNI website.

Transfer

For students trained in other Higher Education Institutions. Discounts proposed for 1 semester, renewable if the student achieves academic performance above 75% in the contracted subjects.

Financing Options
Percentage: Established by SISFIES
Responsible sector: Social Assistance Center
Target audience and selection criteria:
FIES, which stands for Student Financing Fund, is a program from the Ministry of Education created to mainly help students who are studying for an undergraduate degree.
To apply, students must be duly enrolled in educational institutions that are part of the program and have a per capita income of up to three minimum wages. You can register directly on the FIES website.
Percentage: 50%

Fundacred offers financing to students who are duly enrolled in courses. You can apply directly on the Fundacred website (portal.fundacred.org.br). They publish a notice with information about this every year.
