Educational Model
Facens is a Smart Campus – an award-winning concept both domestically and internationally, aligning the development of practical projects with the smart cities initiatives and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.
We are the 1st 5G Campus in the State of São Paulo, signatory of the UN Global Compact, the 1st private university in the UI Green Metrics international sustainability ranking and co-leader of the global higher education network that promotes well-being, The Wellbeing Project, in a 100 thousand m² green space, more than 50 specialized laboratories and several Innovation Centers.
We prioritize the integration of the Academy into the Market, a focus on the entrepreneurial and citizen development of students and employees, the constant search for social and technological innovation and the promotion of a healthy education ecosystem.

Experimental Projects Plant – UPX
A UPX curricular unit focuses on the development of technical and socio-emotional skills and the expansion of the student's socio-environmental awareness and entrepreneurial attitude through the development of solutions for real challenges and civil society organizations.
UPX integrates the Facens ecosystem, its innovation centers and the job market into the undergraduate course curriculum through innovative and creative storytelling within the classroom and through our virtual learning environment.
Our students are encouraged to understand global challenges, work on projects related to the semester's theme, collaborate in teams, engage with companies, and refine their technical and socioemotional competencies.
